Former girl group Wonder Girls’ Ye-eun (Park Ye-eun, 28) has been accused of fraud with her father, who is a pastor.

On September 10th, the singer’s agency Amoeba Culture announced, “it is true that Ye-eun has gone through a police investigation once. To prove that she is innocent, she participated with all efforts.”

The agency also apologized that she keeps getting involved in issues because of her father.

According to Channel A’s reports, Ye-eun and Ye-eun’s father, who is a pastor, recently has been accused of fraud. In March this year, some of the church members filed a lawsuit against the two at the Seoul Suseo police station.

Park Young-gyun, Ye-eun’s father, reportedly is getting accused of pocketing about 20 billion won worth of investment money from the church members. It is reported that he had convinced his church members that he was planning to create an entertainment business and could guarantee return on investment.

The church members are arguing that “his daughter Ye-eun is also involved in the fraud because she would appear on the business information session and more.”

Ye-eun’s father pastor Park is currently serving his time after getting a sentence of 6 years in prison.

Meanwhile, Ye-eun is currently working as a solo artist ‘Ha:tfelt’ at Amoeba Culture after the disbandment of Wonder Girls.
