New SBS drama ‘While You Were Sleeping’ (starring Suzy and Lee Jong-suk) is off to a good start marking 9.2% of viewing rate.
According to Nielsen Korea’s ratings on the 28th, the first episode of ‘While You Were Sleeping’ had a viewing rate of 9.2%. On the same day, the highest viewing rate in Seoul was 12.8% and 10.4% around the capital area. The last episode of previous drama ‘Reunited Worlds’ had a viewing rate of 6.7%.
‘While You Were Sleeping’ is also chasing behind MBC ‘Hospital Ship’, which airs at the same times and on the same days. ‘Hospital Ship’ has a viewing rate of 10.6%.
The new SBS drama is a story about a woman (Suzy), who can foresee unfortunate accidents in her dreams, and an attorney (Lee Jong-suk) that tries to stop those accidents from happening. Other cast includes Lee Sang-yeob, Jung Hae-in, and Shin Jae-ha.
‘While You Were Sleeping’ was written by Park Hye-ryun, who also wrote ‘Pinocchio’ (2014), ‘I Can Hear Your Voice’ (2013), and ‘Dream high’ (2011).
