Fans chose Wanna One-NU’EST member Minhyun as the idol who looks even better in person.
Given the heavy makeup, bright lights, and camera distortions of television broadcasts can alter an idol’s image. As such, there are many fans who are eager to see how their favorite singers and entertainers look “in real life” to see how they compare.
That’s where mobile app IDOLCHAMP’s poll to determine which idols visual are even better in person than their on-screen personas comes. Earlier this week IDOLCHAMP released the results of their survey ran from July 18 until August 1, giving participants ample time to submit a vote.
Well-known idols like T-ARA Ji-yeon, VICTON Lim Se-jun, and EXO Suho were all on the list. However, it was Wanna One-NU’EST member Minhyun that took the top spot. According to the mobile app, Minhyun, who is currently active with group Wanna One, won with 46.9 percent of the total votes.
The singer gained public recognition when he appeared on the second season of “Produce 101” in 2017. During and after his time on the show, viewers and fans praised his good looks and personality and earned a reputation who was equally handsome in person as he was on TV.
In second place is EXO rapper Suho with 45.8 percent and with 2.3 percent Apink Oh Ha-young rounded out the top three.
