On Friday June 14 KST rumors spread that former After School member UEE and M.I.B former member Kangnam had been dating after Dispatch released photos from a video of the pair on an alleged date.Their representative agencies quickly denied the rumors saying the two were just close friends.
Fours hours after the rumors began both entertainment companies admitted to media outlets that the two entertainers were dating.
UEE’s agency, Yeoreum Entertainment released a statement saying “[UEE and Kangnam] just recently began dating romantically and are in the beginning stages [of their relationship], so we are being careful with the sudden reports. To be considerate of the other side [Kangnam], we denied that rumors at first, but after discussing the matter we’ve decided to come forward.”
A spokesperson from Kangnam’s agency added that “It is true that [Kangnam] is dating UEE. We did not comment before to be considerate of the other side”.
After initially denying the dating rumors on her Instagram UEE confirmed that the two were dating and apologized to her fans for any confusion.
