On December 28 HIGHER-UP ENTERTAINMENT, Black Eyed Pilsung’s label jointly founded with CJ E&M, announced that the producers are preparing to launch a new girl group. According to the announcement, the label is preparing to lunch “excellent artists who have the skills and potential for the world market.” Further,  Black Eyed Pilsung personally created the album production and specialized training system.

This new group is the hit producer’s ambition goal for 2018. It will not only be an excellent opportunity for those who dream of stardom, but also it will be a girl group molded by the hands of a great producer, which is arguably more exciting. This situation will be similar to Big Hit Entertainment’s Bang Si-hyuk and boy group BTS.

To this end, HIGHER-UP ENTERTAINMENT will hold a nation-wide audition to unearth the label’s first generation of idol stars. The auditions will begin on January 12 in Gwangju and conclude on the 27th in Seoul. Further, the recruitment categories will have four divisions: singing, rap, dance, and acting. Only those who were born between 1997 and 2005 are eligible for the auditions but can be any gender and nationality.

Black Eyed Pilsung have produced some of the most memorable hit girl group songs. The list of songs includes most of TWICE’s songs, Sistar’s “Touch My Body,” and Miss A’s “Only You.”
