Girl group TWICE continues to dominate in the Japanese market and is quickly becoming one of the most successful K-pop groups in the market.

While the repackaged version of the TWICE’s first full-length album BDZ is still months from being released, “Stay by My Side,” a drama theme song that will be included on the record has already proven to be a hit. After its release on October 22, the song quickly topped Line Music’s top 100 real-time chart.

The song is one of the songs for one of TV Asahi’s drama’s that began airing earlier this month. Further, it has an uptempo sound typical of the group but also expresses the longing feelings a woman in love.

In addition to the success of their first music feature on a Japanese drama, has also become the first K-pop girl group to embark on a done tour. Next year, the TWICE will perform at the Kyocera Domes in Nagoya and Osaka. In particular, this announcement follows the group’s successful eight-city area tour, demonstrating their popularity.

Outside of Japan, the group is planning to make a Korean comeback with their sixth mini-album YES or YES on November 6. Before they release the album, TWICE will have an official fan meeting to celebrate their third anniversary at Yonsei University.
