Former Wonder Girl turned solo artist Sunmi will be making a comeback next year in January.
Sunmi’s agency Make Earth Entertainment confirmed the news on December 18. They said, “We are currently preparing for a comeback with the goal to release it next year in January.” The agency continued, “We are still discussing details regarding the concept, production and promotion schedule.”
In August Sunmi made her first solo comeback since Wonder Girls dissolved. Her title song “Gashina” with the “Shooter” dance move had a unique sexiness, making it very popular. As such, the song held the no. 1 spot for consecutive weeks, and Sunmi collected awards from different music broadcast shows.
In addition to preparing for her come back, Sunmi is also working on a collaboration with singer Uhm Jung-hwa for SBS Gayo Daejun on December 25.
