On August 14th, artist Seo Taiji held a live talk through Naver’s ‘V LIVE’, a Korean live broadcasting app.

He revealed that he would be showcasing his dance moves, raising fans’ expectations. “Please tune in to next week’s ‘V LIVE’,” he said.

Guckkasten’s front-man and long-time fan of Seo Taiji, Ha Hyun-woo, featured as MC of the ‘V LIVE’ broadcast, and the two discussed preparations for Seo Taiji’s upcoming ’25th Anniversary Concert’. The concert is to be held this September 2nd at the Seoul Olympic Stadium.

During the live broadcast, Seo Taiji introduced the members of the ‘Seo Taiji Band’ and talked about concert preparations and child-rearing. “My daughter has been growing up quickly,” he said. He also shared that he has been concentrating on fulfilling his role as a father.

Seo Taiji met his wife, actress Lee Eun-sung, back in 2008 when preparing for his release ‘Bermuda Triangle’. The two started dating in 2009 and were married on June 2013 in their home at Pyeong-chang dong, Seoul. One year later, on August 8, 2014, their daughter was born.

While talking about his role as father, Seo Taiji revealed, “I’m a pro now. I wasn’t good at telling what my child needed at first, but now I know when she’s in pain and where she’s hurting,” he said. “My daughter likes sushi. I think it’s because of my influence,” he shared.

In response to the question of how he maintains his stamina, he replied, “I don’t really do anything special. I eat eel and ginseng chicken soup (samgye-tang) on hot days.” He also revealed his rigorous schedule saying, “I used to practice twelve hours a day, but I reduced that to eight.”

Seo Taiji’s most current album, ‘SEOTAIJI Band Concert Tour-Quiet Night’ was released on August 2015. When asked about whether he had plans to release another album, he replied, “I am thinking of releasing one, but I don’t have an exact date for when it’s going to come out.”

“What we’re focusing on right now is the concert. It’s a huge endeavor for us,” he added.
