Along with its new MC’s, SBS MTV’s ‘The Show’ has made a few changes for their spring season.

Starting on May 22 broadcast of ‘The Show,’ new MC’s appeared to host the program. The new MC crew includes NCT’s Jeno, CLC’s Ye-Eun, and former JBJ member Kim Yong-Guk. In addition to this new MC crew, ‘The Show’ added several segments to the program, and made a decision to include global votes in their ranking system.

First, the program added various contents where the artists and their fans can communicate more. One of them is the ‘Heart Drop Video,’ where fans can experience what it feels like to make an eye contact with their stars. Another is the ‘Last Performance’ segment, where the star plans and coordinates how they want to perform their last stage during promotional period. On May 22 broadcast, boy group The Boyz got to perform on the stage they organized.

Second, ‘The Show’ became the first-ever Korean music show to incorporate global votes in their ranking system. While only the fans in Korea could vote during live broadcast previously, now global fans can participate in voting with the ‘Star Pass’ app. In addition, the singer chosen as “The Show Choice” will be featured at Times Square in New York every Friday.
