Actress Ryu Hye-young from popular drama series “Reply 1988” is leading a new drama to premiere in November.

“Eun-joo’s Room” (working title), which is Olive TV’s new drama, is based on the popular webtoon serialized under the same title. The drama will be differentiated from other Korean dramas by taking “DIY interior design” as its main theme.

For the cast members, Kim Jae-young from “100 Days My Prince,” Park Ji-young from the horror hit “Gonjiam: Haunted Asylum,” and musical actor Yoon Ji-on are joining Ryu Hye-young.

Ryu Hye-young, who made her name known in “Reply 1988” as the female lead’s sister, will be acting the lead role, “Shim Eun-joo.” Eun-joo, who once had managed a successful career life as an editing designer, loses health and people in the course of pushing herself for success. As she starts a job-less life, she finds the charm of DIY interior design and finds her life back.

Rising star Kim Jae-young will be leading the drama along with the female lead. Fans are excited to find several names that rarely made small screen appearances from the cast member list.

“We’ve put much effort to the casting in order to make the identity of our channel stand out,” said a source from Olive TV. “Especially because it is the first drama series to be produced by Olive TV, we’re working hard to make a drama that’s enjoyable to many.”

“Eun-joo’s Room” will launch the filming in October.
