Ryan Reynolds is expected to be remembered as the first Hollywood actor to appear on MBC’s “King of Masked Singer.”
On May 13, Reynolds who arrived in Korea to promote his movie Deadpool 2 met viewers on the popular music program “King of Masked Singer.”
On the show, disguised under a unicorn mask the actor sang “Tomorrow” from the popular musical Annie. Further, when he first appeared the judges had no idea at first that the contestant was a foreigner and one commented that his “pronunciation is so good.” More, one even joked that the singer could be Donald Trump.
Unfortunately, Reynolds’ appearance on the show was spoiled by some excited audience members online prior to its broadcast. However, many failed to believe the rumor, dismissing it as nonsense.
With his confirmed participation in the program, the actor began to trend on Twitter shortly after his segment. Many of the posters expressed excitement and shock when he revealed himself. Meanwhile, Deadpool 2 will be out in South Korean theaters on May 16.
