On June 27, producer Na Young-Seok participated in a press conference regarding tvN’s “Grandpas Over Flowers,” which recently returned with a new season. During the conference, producer Na also took the liberty to share news about the upcoming return of “New Journey to the West.”
Producer Na said, “we are currently preparing for the program’s return and aiming to begin airing in the second half of the year.”
Furthermore, he announced that the show changed its airing time. While the show originally aired on Friday nights, the new season will have a different airing time, which they haven’t confirmed yet.
He continued, “we wanted to return earlier, but producer Shin Hyo-Jung injured her leg and had to receive a major surgery. She is currently in the process of recovery. Soon, we will gather our cast members and begin filming.”
Meanwhile, Na Young-Seok’s “Grandpas over Flowers” also returned with a new season. In the upcoming season, the grandpas will travel over Germany, Czech Republic, and Austria.
