Pledis Entertainment, the agency behind NU’EST and Seventeen, is planning to take legal steps to prosecute those slandering its artists.

On Wednesday, Pledis Entertainment (Pledis) announced that it will “take legal action against chromic malicious slander” that affects its artist “without exception.” Moreover, Pledis notes that they have noticed the disproportionate amount of slander directs at certain artists. Notwithstanding, the writers of such libel and the disseminators of it will be subject to strong legal action.

According to the announcement, the agency is currently collecting evidence of the said slander in order to create a legal case. Further, going forward they will attempt to provide regular updates to fans regards the matter.
