Show Media Group’s Park Young-suk opened up about whether actress Park Hae-mi will continue appearing on the musical ‘Oh! Carol’ or not.

On August 28th, the press call of ‘Oh! Carol’ took place at the Seoul D-cube Arts Center. Producer Park Young-suk attended the event with director Han Jin-seob, music director Kim Sung-soo, and the actors.

Actress Park Hae-mi (plays Esther) was not able to attend the press call because of her husband’s car accident, which happened during the night before. Park Young-suk opened up and said, “I feel very sad. Unfortunately, it also happened on the same day of the press call. Although Park Hae-mi is one of our cast, who has been working with us, but we feel really sad and sorry about the people involved in the accident. We would like to use this opportunity to hope the deceased rest in peace.”

Producer Park also said, “Park Hae-mi contacted me last night. She wanted me to tell you that she is truly sorry about not being able to attended the press call today. Also, she has not decided on the following schedules. So we cannot make an official announcement on whether she will appear on the show or not.”

Meanwhile, ‘Oh! Carol’ is a musical about love stories that happen at a paradise resort. The musical uses hit pop songs of American singer Neil Sedaka. The show is performed at the D-cube Arts Center until October 21st.
