Korean actor Park Bo-gum is reviewing the lead role in upcoming drama “Boyfriend.”
On May 16, an insider from Park Bo-gum’s agency Blossom Entertainment confirmed that it is true that the actor has been offered a role in “Boyfriend.”
“It is one of several pieces the actor has received offers and we’re still in talks.”
Drama “Boyfriend” centers around a romantic relationship between a woman who seems to have everything and a plain man. It draws a story showing how hard it is to give up what one has, whether it is money and fame or an ordinary life.
Park Bo-gum is offered with the lead role “Kim Jin-hyuk,” the ordinary man. Yoo Young-Ah, who wrote dramas “Bel Ami” and “Entertainer” and movies “Take Off 2” and “Brother,” will take charge of the screenwriting.
Park Bo-gum has been taking a rest since “Moonlight Drawn by Clouds” in 2016. Fans are expecting to see if he is finally making a comeback to the Korean drama scene.
