MBC is launching a new audition program this fall, in search for the new leaders of K-pop for the next generation.
Confirming the rumor which broke out back in June, MBC has announced its plan to launch a new audition program. The newly launching TV show, “Creative Teen Under Nineteen” plans to hold auditions to find the most talented teenagers in three different categories – rap, vocal, and performance. The winners will be trained as members of “Undernineteen of Nations.”
Distinguished from previous audition shows, “Creative Teen Under Nineteen” will take creativity as the main value they seek from the contestants.
People are anticipating the show, especially because MBC has found a group of talented musicians through its previous audition show, “Birth of a Great Star.”
The show announced that they plan to hold open auditions. The auditions will take place not only in Korea, but also in US, Japan, and China.
“Creative Teen Under Nineteen” will premiere in the first week of November.
