On Monday it was revealed in a television report that Lee Soo Hyuk may be enlisting in the military on August 10.
Lee Soo Hyuk began his career as a model nd expanded to acting with his participation in the film “My Boss, My Teacher” in 2006. Since then he starred in a variety of dramas including “The Scholar Who Walks the Night” (2015) and “Luck Romance” (2016) and recently signed a contract with YG Entertainment in March 2017.
All South Korean men between the ages of 18 and 35 are required to serve in the military for 21 to 36 months depending on the branch of the military that they enter. The military conscription is stated in Article 39 of the country’s constitution and has been in effect since 1965 as a result of the Korean War. Lee Soo Hyuk was born in 1988 and is currently 30 years old.
