Lee Jong-suk has successfully wrapped up his Asia tour schedule by meeting fans in Manila.
On November 18, Lee Jong-suk visited the final destination of his Asia fan meet tour in Manila. Since August, the Korean actor has met 21 thousand fans in countries including Japan, Korea, Taiwan, Thailand, Indonesia, and the Philippines.
Local fans in Manila greeted Lee Jong-suk with much enthusiasm. Especially as drama “While You Were Sleeping” is currently being broadcasted through a local TV station, reactions from the fans were more than expected.
3,000 tickets to the event sold out as soon as the sales opened. Fans who failed to get tickets visited the event site to get a glimpse of the star. Some of the fans even visited from overseas.
“I was wondering why I came to Manila so late,” said the actor. “But now I realize that I feel so happy that Manila is the special city I’m visiting as the final destination. I will wrap up the tour with such happy memories.”
The Korean actor did not only discuss his acting career but also shared special aspects of himself. He played the piano to sing for the fans at the site and interacted with fans in various means.
“It’s the last destination of my fan meet tour, but it took me so long to get here,” said Lee Jong-suk, implying troubles in Jakarta. “People expressed worries and I, too, worried that the trouble might be repeated. But I was more eager to meet you guys here and now I understand that it was the right choice.”
Meanwhile, Lee Jong-suk plans to focus on his role in the upcoming drama, “Romance Supplement.” The drama will premiere in January 2019.
