Kwanghee’s manager Yu Shi-jong, who recently appeared on MBC ‘Point of Omniscient Interfere’, got involved in ‘school bully’ rumors. Kwanghee’s agency has however denied the accusation.

On December 23rd, an anonymous person wrote on an online community saying Kwanghee’s manager Yu Shi-jong used to be a school bully in Uijeongbu City.

Yu Shi-jong first appeared on TV on December 22nd through ‘Point of Omniscient Interfere’ as Kwanghee’s manager. He picked up Kwanghee, who was just discharged from military after serving for 18 months. Yu Shi-jong greeted politely to the reporters, and also gave Kwanghee a cake to celebrate his discharge.

Yu also said that he is a big fan of Kwanghee’s, and that he has always hoped to become Kwanghee’s manager since he joined the agency. The hosts of the show even said Kwanghee and his manager looked a lot like each other.

However, the next day, the post about Yu Shi-jong’s bullying rumors was posted and it soon spread out quickly.

Kwanghee’s agency BONBOO ENT explained, “after directly confirming with the manager, we’d like to announce that the bullying rumor is not true”.

They continued and said, “we wanted to talk directly to the person who wrote the post, however, we couldn’t find him because of privacy laws. If the writer could send us an email, we would like to meet him and listen to the whole story. We will try our best to not harm Kwanghee or MBC. We are sorry to worry Kwanghee, MBC, and Kwanghee’s fans”.

While some people are criticizing the manager online, others are saying that they shouldn’t say anything yet because the rumors are not confirmed.
