South Korean YouTuber Lee Jung-Joo, the owner of YouTube channel “Secret Dawn” is in hot water for claiming to have received flowers from the Blue House.
On June 27, YouTuber Sae-Byuk (real name Lee Jung-Joo) posted a picture of herself with flowers that she claimed to have received from the Blue House. In the caption, she said, “the presidential office of secretaries sent me a present. They congratulated me on launching my official business, thank you!”
She continued the post with hashtags that said, “I should send them some facial treatment mask sheets. Do you think they will accept?” Furthermore, on the flowers she posted, the name wrote “the presidential office of the secretaries,” which seemed to validate the YouTuber’s claim.
However, the Blue House spokesperson Kim Eui-Kyeom soon clarified, “Cheong Wa Dae doesn’t send flowers in such a name.”
