Korean-American actor and comedian Ken Jeong reminded people that he is a doctor in real life by giving medical aid to his audience during a standup show.

According to media sources, it was during a standup show held on May 5 at a club in Phoenix, AZ, when Ken Jeong spotted a woman who appeared to suffer a seizure among audiences.

When audience members around her clarified that she was having a medical emergency, the actor immediately jumped off the stage to give medical aid. He and another audience member, who was also a medical technician, stayed with the woman until paramedics arrived.

Born in Detroit to South Korean immigrants, Ken Jeong graduated from Duke University and obtained his M.D. at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill School of Medicine. Until his debut in 1997, the comedic actor practiced medicine.
