It appears we will not be hearing WINNER’s newest song ‘Everyday’ on KBS.

On April 9, KBS reported to OSEN that “the lyrics of WINNER’s ‘Everyday’ contains a specific brand of Lotto. This violates broadcasting regulations, thus the song is disqualified from being broadcasted.”

KBS announces whether a song is qualified or disqualified via their official homepage. However, WINNER’s ‘Everyday’ hasn’t been posted on the page, just yet. An associate said, “this is because they update the list every Wednesday, but WINNER’s song was disqualified after the most recent update of the list. It will be posted soon.”

While ‘Everyday’ was banned from KBS, MBC and SBS have passed the song.

On April 9, WINNER appeared on April 9 broadcast of KBS Cool FM ‘Lee Soo-ji’s Gayo Plaza.” Kang Seung-yoon said, “’Everyday’ was banned from KBS. Therefore, we won’t be doing any live performances on any KBS programs. We can’t air the song at all. However, we would like to sing it for you if we get a chance in the future.”

Previously, EXO’s ‘LOTTO’ was disqualified from KBS for the same reason in 2016. Thus, EXO promoted with “Louder” instead.
