JYJ member Junsu’s ‘Signiel Residence Officetel’ at Lotte World Tower has been seized due to insurance payment default.
On March 23, Biz Hankook reported that the deputy governor of Gangnam, National Health Insurance Service seized Kim Junsu’s residence officetel in January 26, for missing health insurance payments.
When the news broke out, C-JeS Entertainment said, “Kim Junsu is currently fulfilling his military duties. This happened because he is not residing at the officetel, where they have been sending his insurance bills. We will contact Kim Junsu’s asset manager to sort things out. We ask for your understanding and patience.”
In fact, the court had previously ordered a forced auction for this particular officetel, December 13, 2017.
At the moment, a construction company argued that Kim Junsu missed loan payments, twice, to which the court ordered Kim Junsu to pay 3.8 billion won (3.8 million in USD) to the company. However, Kim rejected the court’s decision and filed an appeal.
Meanwhile, Kim Junsu enlisted in the military last February and will be released in November.
