On June 21, Ji Suk-jin’s father passed away. To allow the entertainer time to mourn, SBS postponed this week’s filming of “Running Man.”
Earlier this week, Ji Suk-jin‘s agency reported that the entertainer’s father had passed away. As expected, Ji was revealed to be at the funeral home at the Ansan Medical Center, and the agency said that they were working to coordinate his schedule to accommodate the tragedy. Further, it is expected that the funeral will take place on the 23rd.
In response to the news of Ji’s father passing away, SBS announced that they would postpone their scheduled recording of “Running Man,” that was supposed to talk place on the 25th. Notably, the broadcast company is not the only ones working to ensure Ji has the time he needs to mourn. Different entertainers and DJs have volunteered to fill in for his two radio shows.
Meanwhile, Ji Suk-jin is a veteran entertainer who has worked in variety, radio, and even music. Last year he won an award for his work on variety programs at the SNS Entertainment awards.
