Jang Keun-Suk’s fans decided to host the annual photo exhibition that both celebrates the actor’s birthday and helps the neighbors in need this upcoming Saturday.
This charity/birthday event was first organized by Cri J, the official fan club of Jang Keun-Suk in 2013. The exhibition features photos of Jang Keun-Suk taken by his fans throughout his recent activities and promotions.
From the exhibition, the fans will collect money from the entrance fee and individual donations. As a result, all proceeds from the photo exhibition go towards local charity organizations like Namsanwon and The Snail of Love.
Ever since its establishment, Jang Keun-Suk and his fans have raised thousands of money to help those in need. In 2012, they hosted ‘926 event’ where the fans and the actor each raised 9,260,000 won and donated to Namsanwon, and in 2013 20 million won. Afterwards, the number became bigger and bigger, reaching 75 million won in 2017.
In addition, the event is receiving much attention because the fans voluntarily came up with the idea. From June 16 to 17, the 2018 photo exhibition will take place at the Olympic Hall in Hanyang University.
