Actor Jang Dong-gun will be making a comeback through KBS2 drama, ‘Suits’.
KBS2’s ‘Suits’, is an upcoming remake of the popular American drama of the same name, which is currently on its seventh season.
Jang Dong-gun will be playing a lawyer by the name of Choi Kyung-seo, who works in one of the best law firms in Korea. Park Hyung-sik will also be starring in the drama as a newbie lawyer who possesses impressive memorization skills.
The actor’s appearance will be his first in six years since SBS drama ‘A Gentleman’s Dignity’. The SBS drama reached a peak viewership rating of 24.4% and received much love and interest from the audience.
Jang has shown his heavy charismatic and masculine side in various action, noir, war and thriller films. However, his upcoming drama will have him play a successful lawyer who has wit and charisma, and knows how to show off his suaveness in a suit.
The actor is now planning on taking a more active role in TV and films. This year marks twenty-five years since his debut.
