On September 18, IU’s agency Kakao M (Loen Entertainment) announced that the singer would have a concert and tour to mark the 10th anniversary since her debut. Further, she will be visiting seven cities in Korea and Asia from the end of October to December. Regarding the announcement, Kakao M said that given the significance of the militer stone they are working hard to prepare for the tour.

For her concert in Seoul, the singer will take over KPSO Dome (Olympic Gymnastics Arena). It is one of the largest performance areas in Korea with a capacity of 15,000. The venue, in particular, is a place where only very popular domestic group and international stars usually perform.

Given that IU is a female soloist and has booked the venue speaks volumes to her ticketing power and performance in the industry. Further, in the past decade, she has become one of Korea’s best and most-loved solo musicians.

According to her agency, IU’s tour will kick off in Busan on October 28. Her next show will be in Gwangju on November 10 and the next week will be in Seoul for the 17th and 18th. In addition to these three cities, the singer also plans to visit four other major destinations in Korea, so there will be ample opportunities for fans to see her.

Starting in December, the songstress will begin the Asian leg of her tour with a stop in Hong Kong on the 8th. Throughout the month she will make stops in Singapore, Bangkok, and Taipei where she will meet local fans.

Meanwhile, tickets for IU’s Busan show go on sale on October 1. However, fan club members can pre-order tickets starting on September 27. More information about the tour can be found on the singer’s official channels of communication.
