“Iron Man on Ice” meets up with the rest of The Avengers.
Yun Sung-bin (24) was a distinctive and recognizable athlete on the ice during the 2018 Pyeongchang Winter Olympics. It was not only because of his enormous skills, which earned him a gold medal but also because of his Iron Man inspired outfits. Now, with the Marvel Universe starts in South Korea for promotions, one of Yun’s dreams came true.
On April 13, Yun posted two pictured on his Instagram account and wrote “I’m going to faint,” after meeting the star Marvel heroes. In the photograph, he poses next to American actors Tom Hiddleston, Benedict Cumberbatch, Pom Klementieff, and Tom Holland. The actors arrived in Korea a few days ago to being promotions on their upcoming film The Avengers: Infinity War.
Yun smiles brightly, holding a T-shirt with a Marvel logo on it. Notably, under the logo is “Yun Sung-Bin, the Korean Hero.” More, the four actors also signed the shirt for the athlete.
When Yun competes, he wears an Iron Man helmet instead of the white helmet used by the national team. As such, his nickname naturally became “Iron Man on Ice.” Obviously, his favorite character from the Marvel Universe is Iron Man. In an interview with Joongang Daily, he mentioned that he is very excited for the hero’s next series to come out.
