Starting on August 24, Infinite‘s Sung-jong will be the DJ for the EBS FM radio show “Midnight Black” from Monday to Saturday every week. As the name of the segment implies, the show will begin at midnight.

During the radio broadcast, Sung-jong will communicate with listeners and cover a range of topics. Some of the subjects that he will likely talk about include music, travel, mentality, love, culture and more with the intended audience being teens and twenty-year-olds.

Notably, this is the 24-year-old’s first solo radio program. Responding to the announcement, the singer said that with his new position he wants to “communicate with fans more closely” and share music and daily stories with listeners.

Meanwhile, “Midnight Black” is an ambitious late-night radio program that EBS just launched. According to the producers of the show, the program targets those in their teenage years and twenties who are up late and feel lonely but don’t want to be alone. As such, this show is meant to alleviate the “sense of silence and loneliness that comes at night.”
