Singer Hwang Chi-yeul injured his collarbone while shooting the show ‘Immortal Songs’.
According to OSEN’s cover of the news, Hwang was having a b-boying dance competition with Wanna One’s Kang Daniel when he got injured.
During the show’s episode that aired on 26th, Wanna One performed their title song ‘Energetic’ on the stage. The performance was followed by Kang Daniel’s b-boying skills and his competition with Hwang Chi-yeul.
Although the shooting was done with joy, Hwang Chi-yeul started to feel pain over time. Therefore, he visited a hospital after shooting the show. After medical examinations, he was diagnosed with a collarbone injury, which would take 8 weeks for full recovery.
Hwang is currently wearing a protective equipment on his right shoulder and arm, but he occasionally takes the equipment off for his schedules to be professional.
Through his V App session on the 4th, hwang said, “I am currently on my 4th week of the injury, so I am wearing this equipment since this week is very important. I may start rehabilitation next week after taking an MRI.”
