The late artist Jonghyun of SHINee won a Golden Disk in Album Division and nominated for Most Popular Star.
The 33rd Golden Disc Awards were held at Gocheok SkyDome in Seoul. The awards honored the late artist Jonghyun by awarding him a Golden Disk in Album Division.
Jonghyun was nominated in two divisions – Album Division and Most Popular Star – Album Division. Between the two, the late artist won Bonsang with his posthumous album “Poet | Artist.”
When Jonghyun’s name was called out, SHINee members Minho and Taemin appeared on the stage to collect the trophy in place of Jonghyun.
“Thank you for presenting Jonghyun with such a great award,” said Minho.
We all appreciate fans who send continuous supports to him on behalf of Jonghyun.”
“Please remember Jonghyun, who has loved music and stages more than anyone can possibly do,” added Taemin.
“Poet | Artist,” which was released in January 2018, comprises 11 tracks including the title track, “Shinin’.”
