Girl’s Day member Yura will be hosting this year’s Miss Korea!

On June 22, Dream T Entertainment confirmed, “Yura became the host for 2018 Miss Korea, a ceremony where they will crown the 62nd Miss Korea.”

‘Miss Korea’ is a beauty pageant that began in 1957, taking place every year to select the most beautiful woman in South Korea. For this year’s contest, former Miss Korea/actress Kim Sung-Ryung have confirmed to be the head of the judging panel.

Regarding the news, Yura responded, “I used to idolize Miss Korea when I was a child. It is an honor for me to host such a contest, where the most beautiful people from around the country will gather.”

Yura has a history of being the hosts for numerous programs. The list includes O’live Channel’s “2016 Tasty Road” as well as tvN’s “Life Bar” recently. Furthermore, she appeared in KBS drama “Beauty Bible 2017” and solidified herself as a multi-entertainer.
