The six members of (G)I-DLE will comeback after a three-month break with the hopes of surpassing their debut success.

On August 1, multiples sources reported that girl group (G)I-DLE are picking up speed to finish their new album. It has only been three months since the rookie group released their debut album I AM back on May 2, but they already have high hopes for success.

The title song from I AM “LATATA,” which leader Jeon So-yeon helped create, reached the 14th spot on Melon’s music chart, setting a record. Additionally, the group won the top prize on three weekly music shows including SBS “The Show” just 20 days after their debut.

Due to their previous success, many fans in industry insiders are focusing on how they plan to build up their popularity and fandom. It will be very interesting considering some of the other groups who have announced an August return. Some group making a comeback include iKON, Red Velvet, BtoB, and BTS.
