EXO’s Kai starred as a guest director in MBC’s ‘Under Nineteen’ to support aspiring idols.
On January 12, EXO’s Kai made a surprise visit on MBC’s Under Nineteen as a guest director to offer advice and support for the contestants. Kai shared his experience of feeling more nervous performing for senior artists than on the stage after watching the contestants perform EXO’s iconic song Growl. He also offered advice on how the concept behind Growl was innocent students and to use their age (all under 19) and experience to their advantage.

Kai gave an inspiring reminder for the contestants. He said “while the results does matter, happiness comes first.” He continued by stating although there are going to be hardships and stressful times, to never forget why you decided to become an idol which is to be happy.
