CNBLUE member Jung Yong-hwa has found a way to help out the students at his high school alma mater.

Jung Yong-hwa is going to establish a scholarship program at his Namsan High School in Busan, his alma mater. With this program in place, select graduates will be award the scholarships.

At the school’s 28th graduation ceremony on Feb. 12, Jung personally awarded six graduates scholarships who hope to continue their educational journey despite facing difficult circumstances. In addition to the scholarships, the singer also donated to the school’s development and plans to do so continually.

The singer’s kind act is nothing new. In the past, Jung regularly donated to different foundations and organization to help low-income families. Currently, he is serving in the military as part of the 702 Special Forces and will be discharged in November.
