BTS has been invited to the 73rd General Assembly of the United Nations.

According to UN sources, BTS will attend the launch of UNICEF’s Generation Unlimited, which will take place on September 24.

Organized by the United Nations’ wing for the Children’s Fund, Generation Unlimited is a partnership program that aims to expand the investigations and opportunities for the youth.

At the event attended by the secretary general of the UN Antonio Guterres and the executive director of UNICEF Henrietta Fore, BTS will give a 3-minute speech.

Previously, South Korean figure skater Kim Yuna also spoke on the same stage to promote the 2018 Pyeongchang Winter Olympics.

BTS is currently on its world tour concert, which was launched on September 5 at Staples Center in Los Angeles, CA. The group is visiting New York next month for the concert at Citi Field on October 6.
