Yook Sung-Jae finds a clever way to assure fans that rumors are just rumors!
On August 13, BTOB held a special live broadcast through Naver’s V Live to communicate with fans before their leader Seo Eun-Kwang leaves to serve in the military. During the broadcast, the group shared some behind-the-stage stories from their concerts, as well as spinning a wheel to choose the next temporary leader.
During the broadcast, Eun-Kwang announced that BTOB was currently rising above in the realtime search rankings, to which Yook Sung-Jae jokingly responded by saying they have been high in the rankings a lot that day. He added, “do you think it’s because of our V Live broadcast?”
Afterwards, Yook Sung-Jae lifted up to take a sip of his drink, only to let fans see a secret message written on the bottom of the cup. A word meok-geum was written across the bottom of the cup, which is an abbreviation for “feeding is forbidden.” This jargon is often used by K-pop fans in the Korean online communities to mean “don’t pay attention to meaningless words and actions.”
With that, Yook Sung-Jae altogether put down the rumors that accused him of being in a relationship with DIA’s Jueun earlier that day. Check out the footage below!
