BLACKPINK’s “DDU DU DDU DU” music video beat previous records set by PSY with “Gentleman,” and became the most-viewed Korean music video within 24 hours on YouTube. In addition, the music video also beat BTS’ May Release “Fake Love.”
According to the YouTube streaming data, “DDU DU DDU DU” reached over 36.2 million views within 24 hours. The video surpassed PSY’s 2013 release “Gentleman” and BTS’ “Fake love,” which saw 36 million and 35.9 million, respectively.
On July 5, Metro News also confirmed that “DDU DU DDU DU” is the second most-viewed music video in the first 24-hour period in YouTube History.
