B1A4’s Shinwoo reveals his true feelings about the departure of Jinyoung and Baro and the new start for B1A4 as a 3-member group.

On July 25, B1A4 Shinwoo took the liberty of sharing his feelings about the recent changes the group went through. The artist said, “recently, I got to organize my thoughts while going through the memories we have built since our debut. There is not a single memory that was not special or meaningful to me. Because of that, I feel even more regretful and sorry to all our fans.”

Moreover, Shinwoo mentioned Jinyoung and Baro, and showed his support for their decisions. He said, “I want to respect and support the decisions of my members, with whom I spent the last 10 years. Because of my personality of not being able to let things go easily, it was definitely hard to accept what had happened. However, now I want to try to push down many emotions I’m going through.”

He continued, “I want to believe that everything happened for a reason. Maybe this has given me a new hope as I start the new chapter of my life with you guys. It feels like I went through a puberty, and the changes allowed me to be more appreciate of things.”

At the end, Shinwoo added that he wants to depend on his fans for what’s to come in the future. He concluded, “just like I’ve always done, I want to depend on you guys. I don’t want to rush into anything – just be able to find happiness in little things in life.”

Meanwhile, B1A4 reached the end of their contract with WM Entertainment on June 30. While Shinwoo, Sandeul, and Gongchan renewed their contracts, the other two decided to depart from the agency. Afterwards, Jinyoung signed a contract with startup Link8 Entertainment, and Baro with HODU&U Entertainment.
