The Korean Business Research Institute announced the August brand reputation rankings for individual girl group members on August 20.
The August brand reputation ranking results are based on a series of analyses. The Korean Business Research institute analyzed 85,956,844 pieces media, communication, and community index data for 171 girl groups. Notably, this year the Institute discovered that consumers’ online habits have a big influence on brand consumption.
Irene of Red Velvet took the top spot with a total brand reputation of 1,950,411. The terms “Pretty”, “Cute”, and “Difficult” came up as link analysis for Irene. Comparatively, an analysis of keywords produced “Red Velvet”, “Park Bo-gum”, and “Model” as top words .
Yoona from Girls’ Generation and Yoo-jeong from Wiki Meki, the 2nd and 3rd spots, respectively after Irene. Furthermore, Girls’ Generation’s Tiffany and GFRIEND’s SinB take the last spots to finish the top five. Additional members from Red Velvet, Girls’ Generation, Weki Meki, and GFRIEND, and one member from Laboum round out the top ten.
