Actor Shin Hyun-joon welcomed his second son into the world with his wife, Kim Kyung-mi.
On June 24, Shin Hyun-joon’s agency HJ Artists announced that the actor’s wife, Kim Kyung-mi, has successfully given birth to a baby boy. Further, both mother and child are is good health and Shin is reported to be very joyful and is staying by his wife’s side in the hospital.
This is the couple’s second child and son, their first being Min-joon, marking a significant and precious addition to the family. On the same day as the birth, Shin released a picture of himself holding his new child in his arms.
Shin announced the news about the impending birth on the 23rd. After Kim gave birth the next day, shine expressed his happiness and gratitude on social media. In particular, the actor wrote a message for his son where he said “thank you for coming to Papa and mama (Shin and Kim),” and “let’s live together happily,” and expressed his love for his son. Additionally, the actor also wrote a message for his wife saying “Honey, it was difficult, right? You’ve worked hard. Thank you.”
Moreover, Shin expressed gratitude for the love he has received and planned to give to his family. “Since my debut, I have been loved by so many people,” Shin wrote. “I will never forget to share the love I received and live a better life. Thank you for your blessings,” he said.
Meanwhile, Shin married his wife in May 2013. After being married for three years, the couple gave birth to their first son in 2016.
