The actor quietly enlisted on May 1.
On the afternoon of May 1, Dong-ha entered the Yeoncheon training camp without any special event.
The actor’s enlistment comes only four days after he announced his plans on April 27 through his agency. More, in the announcement Dong-ha noted that he wanted to fulfill his duty as a Korean citizen sincerely. Understandably, the sudden and surprising news caught many of his fan off-guard. Nevertheless, his fans accepted the news, and some made the journey to see him off.
On another note, Dong-ha has starred in numerous popular dramas including “Suspicious Partner,” “Chief Kim,” Beautiful Mind,” and “Last.”
Meanwhile, the actor will undergo five weeks of basic training before being assigned to an official station.
