Byul expresses her undying love for her husband Haha, whom she would marry again even if she could turn back the time!

Byul, in celebration of her 16th anniversary, recently participated in a photoshoot with bnt magazine. The singer is currently preparing for her solo concert for the first time in 15 years, since hosting her first-ever solo concert in 2003.

During the interview that followed the photoshoot, Byul started off by explaining a little about her new track “Distance,” which is a sentimental ballad that talks about a breakup. She said, “It’s been a while since I sang a breakup song. I wrote it myself and if there are people who are anticipating a “Byul Ballad,” this is the perfect song for that.”

However, she also confessed that she had a hard time writing the lyrics. The singer said, “I’m living very comfortably with my loving husband and child. It seemed a bit off that I would talk about a breakup because my life is the complete opposite. I’m sure the audience had a hard time getting into the song, knowing how I live right now.”

In fact, Byul revealed that her attitude towards music has changed after marrying Haha. The singer said, “I talk to him a lot about music. When we talk about music, we treat each other as if we are just close friends. Since we are into different genres, there are a few things we can learn from each other. My husband is my No.1 fan. He says he’s jealous of my singing abilities, but he still likes the way I sing.”

She continued, “I’ve already mentioned this in past interviews, but if I were reborn into a different life and I had to marry someone, I would remarry my husband. You have to marry with some you get along with well. This year marks the 7th year of my marriage and I have yet to see another person with whom I get along better than Haha.”

Byul concluded, “you have to meet someone who makes you feel comfortable around them. Of course, Haha and I fight from time to time. Sometimes, I don’t like that way he behaves and I don’t want to see him. But it’s all a lie if you only say good things to each other. How do you expect to love one another everyday?”

When asked what defines a family, Byul said, “to me, family is a team. I cherish my family so much. There’s nothing in this world that is more important than my family to me. My family is the reason I sing and that I live.”
