MBLAQ’s G.O is the first star to be discharged from the duty. He has been serving as a public servant for 24 months and will be discharged on February 17. He has recently brought to attention by admitting his relationship with actress Choi Ye-seul.
Super Junior Ryeowook
The tenth Super Junior member to serve in the military, Ryeowook started his service on October 11, 2016 and will be discharged on July 10 this year. His comeback is expected to further activate the group’s activities.
JYJ Kim Junsu
Kim Junsu is another K-pop star to be discharged this year. The artist was enlisted in the special promotions unit of the Gyeonggi Nambu Provincial Police Agency in February last year and is set to be discharged on November 8.
Kwanghee
Variety show rookie Kwanghee is returning this year as well. As he made a contract with a new agency right before the enlistment, he is expected to be back with active TV appearances once he is discharged on December 12.
