Originally a popular comic, “So I Married an Anti-Fan” was also adapted into a Chinese film in 2016, starring EXO’s Chanyeol, Mabel Yuan, and Girls’ Generation’s Seohyun. Previously, actor Choi Tae-Joon and Girl’s Generation’s Sooyoung had confirmed to play lead roles.

The drama will tell a story about a “top star” Hoo-Joon and a magazine reporter Lee Geun-Young, who is also the craziest anti-fan of Hoo-Joon. Due to an inevitable situation, the two characters end up living under the same roof, only to find charms of one another that they couldn’t quite see before.

In the drama, Hwang Chan-Sung will take on the role of JJ, a CEO of an entertainment agency, who is also an heir of a wealthy family. He used to be close friends with Hoo-Joon, but had become jealous of his friend’s fame and love life. Then, he plans to destroy the celebrity, growing curiosity towards Lee Geun-Young, who claims to be his biggest anti-fan.

Meanwhile, Han Ji-An had confirmed to take on the role of Oh In-Hyung. The character is a rookie actress who finally tasted a little bit of fame through a recent film she appeared in, but struggles in between Hoo-Joon and JJ – both she used to befriend.

Meanwhile, director Kang Chul-Woo from “1% of Anything” has confirmed to direct the upcoming RomCom drama. After confirming the cast of lead roles, the drama will pre-produce the first half, gearing up to face the audience.
